The School of Ministry is the heart of PBA’s faith-based programming, and is where faith-focused students prepare to launch as the next generation of Christian world changers.
In partnership with other schools within Palm Beach Atlantic University, we offer three joint/dual degrees. These degree programs require a total of fewer credit hours than required if each degree were earned separately. These three configurations give students the opportunity to engage in integrative interdisciplinary coursework that prepares students with the knowledge, skills, and character for a variety of vocations in Christian ministry.
As a student majoring in any of the programs offered in the School of Ministry,
you’ll wade into an ocean of diverse learning opportunities designed to prepare you to positively impact lives.
The School of Ministry is all about equipping. We equip passionate young people with the earthly tools and spiritual perspective needed to create positive change in the world guided by the Word of God. We promise a connected, engaging and fulfilling learning experience that will equip you to use your gifts for His Glory.
Our student-to-faculty ratio of 12:1 means faculty will mentor you.
We offer four chapel services every week, in addition to other events.
We offer 10 Graduate Programs for students to gain expertise in Bible, theology, history with real-world application.
Our seminary began only ten years ago with an enthusiastic faculty and fourteen eager students. Our dream then was to be a multi-denominational seminary within the evangelical tradition with one mission: to equip followers of Jesus with the knowledge, skills, and character for twenty-first-century ministry for God’s Kingdom.
Our location is the urban multicultural melting pot of West Palm Beach, the most “never churched” city in America (Barna). Our evangelical commitment is expressed in spiritual formation, theological reflection, and gospel proclamation through word and works.
Our academic community represents the beauty of the diverse and multi-ethnic body of Christ. Our partnerships with over seventy-five dynamic churches across many traditions and cultures invigorate the learning environment.
Today, our exciting journey is one of awe and wonder at God’s faithfulness. Our alumni are thriving in Kingdom work, from pastors to chaplains, from community builders to ministers among displaced peoples, and from Ph.D. students to Bible teachers.
Our story is growing, and we invite you to be part of it!
