Eighty of the University’s student athletes were named to the Sunshine State Conference Spring Commissioner’s Honor Roll announced this week.
Last spring, 69 PBA athletes earned a spot on the honor roll. To be eligible, students must post a minimum GPA of 3.20 on a 4.0 scale. Participants in baseball, softball and men's and women's basketball, golf, tennis and lacrosse are eligible for the spring honor roll.
Across the conference, a record 1,395 student-athletes achieved the spring honor roll,
breaking the conference’s previous record of 1,303 student-athletes last spring. This
year also marked the first time the conference had more than 2,000 student-athletes
on the honor roll in one academic year. There were 671 student-athletes on the commissioner’s
honor roll in the fall and 1,395 this spring, for a total of 2,066.
For the eighth consecutive year, the SSC boasts an academic success rate of 86 percent. It places the conference first among all NCAA Division II conferences for the third straight year.
Below is a complete list of PBA student-athletes, with those achieving a 4.0 GPA listed in bold.
