Ann-Marie TaylorChief of Campus Safety and Security Ann-Marie Taylor has been promoted to assistant vice president for auxiliary services and procurement.

Senior Vice President for Finance & Administration John Kautz III appointed Taylor to the role, citing her success in bringing remarkable transformation to the Campus Safety and Security team during her tenure. In her first two years, Taylor worked hard to introduce and sustain a shift in the culture. She is grateful for the team’s hard work in embracing change and their appreciation for a strong work ethic. “We’ve made such progress,” she said.

Kautz also commended Taylor’s role as chair of the Crisis Management Team during COVID-19. The CMT developed and drafted PBA’s original response plan, Sailfish Safe.

Taylor joined Palm Beach Atlantic in 2018, having retired from the Palm Beach Police Department as deputy chief. She will continue to oversee Campus Safety and Security.

Taylor and her family have been passionate about their work in Haiti over the past few years, including several trips to Gonaives, Haiti. They were instrumental in opening a medical clinic in Bayonnais, Haiti, in September 2019, and also are affiliated with several schools, churches, an orphanage and bakery through Christian Action and Relief for Haiti. The family looks forward to the privilege of returning many times in the future post-COVID.

She is an alumna twice-over, having earned her bachelor’s and master’s degrees in leadership from Palm Beach Atlantic. She is delighted to have a daughter who plans to attend PBA in Fall 2022.
