The Palm Beach Atlantic University Hispanic Heritage Festival is a celebration of
the Iberian-American cultural heritage through a display of art music and poetry from
various countries. It has been envisioned and organized by Estibaliz Gastesi and
Márcio Bezerra, 11 years ago, as a way to commemorate their 10th year living and performing
in Palm Beach County. Past performers include Duo Gastesi-Bezerra, Alfonso Lopez,
Michelle Tabor, Caio Pagano, Delray String Quartet, Roberto Capochi, Lindsay Garritson,
Leonardo and Ana Lucia Altino, Sonia Santiago, Justin Rubin, Shtrykov-Tanaka Duo,
Duo Brasiliana, Jureit Musicales, Jonathan Borja, and Zaray Rodriguez.

On The Town in The Palm Beaches takes a look at the diverse Latin Community and cultures
in Palm Beach County. Host Frank Licari meets with Drs. Estibaliz Gastesi and Márcio
Bezerra, who are an internationally acclaimed piano duo. As the official piano-duo-in-residence
of Palm Beach Atlantic University, the musicians founded the Hispanic Heritage Festival
in 2009 to bring Brazilian, Portuguese, Spanish, and South and Central American classical

Call for Proposals
The Palm Beach Atlantic University Hispanic Heritage Festival invites perfomers and
music scholars to submit proposals for inclusion in the festival. The selection of
presenters is made through a blind review process. The University does not fund travel
expenses of accepted presenters.
