Why Earn a Degree in Ministry Leadership Studies?

The ministry leadership studies major presents a balance between training in ministry skills, organization and administration, and the nurture and care of people within a ministry context. Effective and practical, your program of study will teach you timely, ethical, and Biblical leadership principles. In today’s world of diverse ministry, you will be prepared to jump into a broad variety of ministries upon graduation. You are encouraged to work with your advisor to choose electives that can be tailored to your unique ministry interests.

The Bachelor of Arts in Ministry with a concentration in Student Ministries provides students with the knowledge, skills, and character essential for fruitful ministry with adolescents in middle school, high school, and college primarily in two major areas: (1) leadership and organizational skills, and (2) skills that foster the development, nurture, and care of adolescents.
