Faculty Awards and Accomplishments: February 2025

PBA News

  • Nathan Chau, director of Workship, PBA’s acclaimed community service program that responds to human needs with Christ-like action, spoke to WPBF 25 News on PBA’s MLK Day of Service. PBA partnered with the Jewish Federation of Palm Beach County to organize 24 community service projects across Palm Beach County to support non-profits and other organizations across the community.   • Dr. Gregory Rummo, professor of Chemistry, was published in Minding the Campus with his article, “Academics Should Embrace the Truth of Christ’s Birth.” Read it here.
  • The Cinema Arts program won four industry awards at the MarCom Award Competition. The students created four TV Commercials that won two Platinum Awards, one Gold Award and one Honorable Mention. The commercials were produced by Associate Dean Antonio Zarro and Dr. Thomas Parham, professor of communication and media studies.
  • Dr. Roger Chapman, professor of history, was published in Good News Florida for an article titled “Nation of Unity: A Lesson from President George Washington.” Read it here. He also contributed a piece for PBA News titled “Twice Nonconsecutively” on the presidential inauguration. Read it here.
  • Dr. James Todd, associate professor of politics and chair of the Department of Politics, contributed a piece to PBA News on the history of the presidential inauguration titled “The History of Inauguration Day.” Read it here.
  • Dr. Brian Strow, dean of the Marshall E. Rinker, Sr. School of Business, spoke to WPTV about the rise in grocery prices and whether or not inflation will ease in 2025. Watch the interview here.
