Assistant/Associate Professor of Biology - School of Liberal Arts and Sciences

TYPE: Full-Time 
LOCATION: West Palm Beach Campus

SUMMARY: Responsible for teaching biology courses and labs, as well as courses within their expertise. Emphasis is on human biology courses for pre-health students. Limited research with undergraduate students is expected. Position also includes normal responsibilities of faculty, including but not restricted to, office hours and attendance at School of Liberal Arts and Sciences meetings.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Ability to communicate effectively, verbally and in writing, with students, faculty, administrators, other constituencies.
• Ability to integrate Christian faith with modern synthesis.
• Evidence of scholarly agenda consistent with expectations of a teaching informed by scholarship-focused program. 

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:  Ph.D. in Biology, Ecology, Environmental Science or a related discipline from a regionally accredited university is strongly preferred. ABD will be considered. Proven track record of strong teaching experience.
