$100 non-refundable application fee is in addition to and not included.

A 50% tuition deposit is due within one week of receiving your acceptance notice. This deposit will be applied to the total cost of tuition. Deposits are non-refundable. All payments and prices are subject to an additional 3.49% credit card processing fee.

Eileen Hebron

Trained in her formative years with Mme. Valia Seiskaya, a featured soloist of the Greek National Opera. She set herself apart by winning numerous awards, the most coveted of which was winning first place in the Empire State Chapter of the National Society of Arts and Letters Ballet Career Award. In 1982, Eileen was accepted at the advanced level to George Balanchine’s School of American Ballet on a full scholarship provided by the Helena Rubinstein Foundation. She learned the Balanchine aesthetic from their internationally acclaimed staff, participated in the NYCB’s Educational Outreach Lecture Demonstration programs, and performed principal roles in the school’s workshop performances. She was coached by Prima Ballerina Alexandra Danilova, Helene Dudin, Kay Mazzo, Suki Schorer, Antonina Tumkovsky, Andre Kramarevsky, Stanley Williams, Peter Martins, Bart Cook, John Taras, and Jacques and Christopher D’Amboise. In her final year at SAB she was selected to dance for a Nestle commercial and a Walt Disney film, which gained her entry into the Screen Actors’ Guild. In 1985, she was hand-picked from her class by Mikhail Baryshnikov to join one of the world’s most prestigious ballet companies, The American Ballet Theatre. While in ABT she was coached by Agnes DeMille, Irina Kolpakova, Natalia Makarova, Susan Jones , Georgina Parkinson, Twyla Tharp, Wendy Walker, Sir Kenneth Mac Millian, David Richardson, and Terrence Orr. She has been an adjunct professor in classical ballet at Palm Beach Atlantic University since 2004.

Douglas Gawriljuk

Graduated from The Royal Academy of Dance, passing all levels with honors, and attended the School of American Ballet in New York, under a full scholarship. He was a principal dancer with Ballet Du Nord in France, Basel Ballet in Switzerland, Miami City Ballet, Pittsburgh Ballet Theatre, Maximum Dance Company, and Ballet Florida. He has also engaged in the field of choreography, creating pieces for Maximum Dance Company, New Orleans Ballet Theater, University of North Caroline School of the Arts, The Smith Family Conservatory of the Arts at The King’s Academy and other dance institutes. His teaching experience includes Douglas Andersen School of Arts, Ballet Pacifica, Gulfshore Ballet, Ballet Ruslan in Brazil, Virginia School of the Arts, School of Ballet Arts, The Royal New Zealand Ballet, University of North Caroline School of the Arts, Florida Atlantic University in Boca Raton, and The Smith Family Conservatory of the Arts at The King’s Academy as a ballet teacher. In 2019 he became a part of the Palm Beach Atlantic University Preparatory Program of Arts as a dance instructor and in 2021 he joined The Ballet Palm Beach as a Ballet Master.

Marife Gimenez

Started her ballet studies in 1982 at the Fanny Montiel School of Ballet in Caracas. Her professional career began at the age of fourteen with The National Ballet of Caracas under the Artistic Direction of Vicente Nebrada, where she was awarded by the Venezuelan Government with the “Jose Felix Rivas Medal” for her outstanding artistic achievements. In 1995 she moved to Miami Florida to join the Miami City Ballet as a principal dancer directed by Edward Villella. She has also worked for Maximum Dance Company under the direction of Yanis Pikieris and David Palmer and from 2006-2009 she danced for Ballet Florida under the artistic direction Marie Hale. Marife’s has now been teaching and choreographing for 13 years around the Nation being invited by several ballet schools such as Gulfshore Ballet, Ballet Pacifica, School of Dulce Anaya, Cary Conservatory, Southwest Virginia Ballet, and the UNCSA School of Dance. Since the summer 2012 Ms. Gimenez became a member of the School of Ballet Arts faculty and Ashley’s Performing Arts Center in West Palm Beach.

Galina Alvarez

Began her ballet training at the Provincial School Alejo Carpentier in Havana, Cuba. She continued her studies at the School of Arts, where she was awarded the Golden Diploma for being the most distinguished student of her generation. She then joined the Ballet Nacional de Cuba, where she became a principal dancer. Her professional training has been influenced by celebrities such as Alicia Alonso, Loipa Araujo, Josefina Mendez, Aurora Bosch, Mirtha Pla, Silvia Marichal, Joaquin Banegas, Maria Elena Llorente, Martha Garcia, Migdalia Montero, and Magaly Suarez. With the Ballet Nacional de Cuba, she toured Europe, Asia, the USA, Australia, Central, and South America. Throughout her vast ballet career, she has interpreted the main characters of great classics such as Giselle, Swan Lake, Don Quichote, The Nutcracker, La Fille Mal Gardée, Cinderella, and Coppelia, among others. She has worked with choreographers from the USA, Cuba, Argentina, and Spain, who have created pieces for her. She participated in the Stars Gala in Budapest, Hungary. She was awarded the Medal for National Culture of Cuba. Renowned dancers such as Carlos Acosta, Igor Yebra, Rolando Sarabia, Lazaro Carreño, and Ernesto Quenedit, among others, have been her partners. She has participated in international festivals and galas in Cuba, Spain, Edinburgh, France, and Italy. She has been a répétiteur for soloist couples of the Ballet Nacional de Cuba and also acted as a ballet mistress for the Ballet de Monterrey, Mexico, where she participated in choreographies based on the original versions of full master pieces like Swan Lake, Giselle, Coppelia, Don Quichote, Bayadere, Paquita Grand Pas, and for the pas de deux Flames of Paris and Spring Waters. She has been the assistant of renowned foreign choreographers and, in Monterrey, she worked under the direction of Robert Hill. The College of Music and Dance of Monterrey has invited her as a jury member for several competitions. Nowadays, she teaches at the Maries Dance Academy.

Larry Albright

Graduated with a BA concentrated in Hip Hop culture from Rutgers University in 2003, Mr. Larry has been teaching, dancing, training and performing his style of hip-hop for 20+ years. He has had the pleasure of choreographing for artists such as Sean Kingston “Fire Burning,” JRand “Ride,” & Black Dada “Imma Zoe”. He has also been featured as an opening act for such artists as B.O.B., T-Pain, Cobra Starship, Ricky Martin, Sean Paul, The Spinners and the Village People. Larry has also been seen on MTV with Pitbull and The Tonight Show with Jay Leno where he performed with J Rand featuring Flo Rida. Though he loves to perform, his passion lies in teaching. His teaching experience is quite extensive having taught all over the country and abroad. He teaches all levels from elementary to collegiate and professionals. Some of his former students have gone on to dance with Michael Jackson, Janet Jackson, Beyonce, Brittney Spears and Rihanna. He has conducted master classes for many conventions including Dance Educators of America, Dance 4 Life (Bahamas), Pick the Stars International (CAN), and UDX Hip Hop Convention. He has also taught & choreographed at many colleges including Rutgers University, FIU, FSU and Florida School of the Arts. His latest projects include being one of the choreographers for the crowd immersive & energetic productions of “MOTO” “MOTO 2: THE RESCUE” & “KOORAZY” presented by Loud Live Productions . Currently, Mr Larry teaches dance for the school district of Palm Beach County, The Greene School and Palm Beach Atlantic University. Most recently, Mr. Larry can be seen performing in and Choreographing music videos for GAWVI and Blanca.

Libby Faber

Is a Palm Beach Gardens, Florida native. Libby grew up dancing with Ballet Palm Beach Academy from the age of 5. She joined BPB’s Pre Professional Trainee program at the age of 16. After graduating from BPB Academy, Libby received her BFA in Dance from The Juilliard School. She was one of six recipients of the Career Advancement Fellowship upon graduation. During her time at school, she was able to explore her passions for choreography and collaboration. She has performed works by John Heginbotham, Twyla Tharp, Gentian Doda, Bill T. Jones, Peter Chu, Stephen Petronio, Paul Taylor, and Jose Limon. Upon graduating, she has created several commissioned pieces, works as a freelance dance artist in Palm Beach County, and is a company dancer and faculty member with Ballet Palm Beach.

Amanda Davis

Was born and raised in Boynton Beach, Florida. She attended Alexander W. Dreyfoos School of the Arts for high school. Amanda earned her BFA in the spring of 2019 at New World School of the Arts. After graduating she joined Ballet Arts dance companyunder the direction of Deborah Marquez in West Palm Beach, FL. Currently Amanda is dancing under the direction of Hannah Baumgarten and Diego Salterini at Dance Now Miami in Miami, FL. She has completed her Cuban methodology certification in ballet and is currently working on her classical Pilates certification. Most recently she has been an artist in residence teacher at Bak Middle School of the Arts.

In spring of 2019 Amanda and select others from NWSA were chosen to perform in the Merce Cunningham centennial at the 92nd Street Y in New York City. She attended The School of Jacob’s Pillow Contemporary Ballet and Contemporary program in the summer of 2019. In 2015 and 2016 she was awarded a Youngarts Winner in Jazz Dance. Throughout her pre-professional and professional career she has performed works by choreographers including AszureBarton, Darrell Moultrie, Didy Veldman, Jae Man Joo, Paul Taylor, Robert Battle, Matthew Neenan, Merce Cunningham, and Eduardo Vilaro.

Ekko Greenbaum

Is a multidisciplinary artist currently based in Boston, MA. A third-year student at the Boston Conservatory, Ekko studies Contemporary Dance (BFA) with an emphasis in Composition. Growing up in South Florida, she attended A.W. Dreyfoos School of the Arts and studied primarily under Eileen Hebron. She has performed work by Aszure Barton, Jennifer Archibald, Murray Lewis, Paul Taylor, George Balanchine, and Bob Fosse amongst many more internationally recognized choreographers. Ekko has extensive experience in ballet techniques, pointe, contemporary, Graham, Limón, Horton, jazz, and improvisation. As a choreographer, Ekko was awarded the New Century Dance Project Grand Prize in 2022 under the direction of Jim Vincent, Penny Saunders, Yusha-Marie Sorzano, and Francisco Gella. In 2023 and 2024, she premiered original choreographic work in the Boston Conservatory’s mainstage production of WinterWorks. Ekko has received additional training from institutions including The Philadelphia Ballet, the Limón Dance Company, and SpringBoard Danse Montreal’s SpringboardX. Additionally, Ekko is an avid writer, visual artist, and musician. She is inspired by the inherent thread between all forms of expression and explores notions of home, memory, and nostalgia in her work. Most recently, Ekko will be dancing in a new work by choreographer James Finnemore (Hofesch Shechter/ Punchdrunk) and composer Joel Harries as a part of the b12 summer festival in Berlin, Germany. She will also attend Henny Jurriëns studios in Amsterdam this summer to study the repertory of Pina Bausch with former Tanztheater Wuppertal dancer and rehearsal director, Azusa Seyama-Prioville.

Victoria Read

A PBA Alumna of Dance, is a passionate instructor of Dance and Pilates in the West Palm Beach area. She enjoys teaching all ages of dance and Pilates at the PBAU Preparatory Department, Vault Fitness WPB, and Acro-Dance Company. Victoria is passionate about furthering arts education in Palm Beach County. She has served on the Natural Movers Foundation Board of Directors since 2022 to help create free or low cost opportunities for students of all backgrounds to grow in artistry. Her favorite moments with her students happen when they start to believe in themselves the way she believes in them. Victoria says, “It’s the moment that their developed technique, creative artistry, and pursued excellence eclipse that I realize being an instructor is much more than just the movement, it’s about cultivating who they each are as individual people. We shouldn’t live to dance, but dance to live!”

Stella Almblade

Holds a BFA in dance, BA in Spanish linguistics, and a Master of Arts in Christian Ministry. Stella’s main passion is bringing the love of God and the Good News to everyone, especially dancers. Stella has danced with Ad Deum Dance Company, Footprints Dance Company, Arrows International, Helen Simoneau Danse, Arizona Opera, and in Memoria with Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater. She has studied at The Ailey School, Steps On Broadway, Peridance, Gibney Dance Center, and as a guest to Limon Dance Company’s company classes in New York City. Stella is also a trained actress, having studied at The Barrow Group and at world renown VO Edge Studio in New York City. Although Stella’s performance credits include national television, music videos, industrials, hospitals, street corners, galas, music concerts, worship halls, churches, site specific productions, and on some of the most famous stages in over
40 countries, her greatest joy is knowing Christ!
She believes that nothing compares to the presence of God! Stella has been an instructor with Dance Revolution, Project Dance, and is currently adjunct faculty at Palm Beach Atlantic University. In every class, Stella strives to point dancers to Christ! Her classes are lively, energetic, and filled with ample opportunities for dancers to grow in their technique and artistic expression as well as grow in their ability to connect their dancing as worship unto God. Stella serves as a Pilates Teacher Trainer at several Pilates training centers and is PMA certified. Stella has completed the Horton Pedagogy training, American Ballet Theater National Training Curriculum, Martha Graham Technique training, Limon, as well as many
other mind-body and release techniques.

Sabrina Velasquez

Began dancing at a young age. Very passionate, she became an important teacher in her own community. Building her own dance company in her hometown she created opportunities for a professional level of dancers, training dancers who are now succeeding on the international scene as well. She has herself been touring in Egypt, Canada and most of the US, dancing on productions such as Best of Broadway, Michael Jackson Man in the Mirror, Holiday extravagenza, Madame Houdini, Magique and more. Currently established in Florida, Sabrina has worked for national channel Univision and for various pop artists. She takes joy in using her experience to teach Jazz, Lyrical and Latin dance styles.

Kaitlyn Esquivel

Is from West Palm Beach, Florida and began her training at her training at Dance Unlimited. She soon transferred to Dance Universe where she trained with the studios pre-professional company. Over the years, Kaitlyn has attended multiple of American Ballet Theatre’s summer intensives including training in New York City. Kaitlyn has been teaching since 2021 at Dance Universe. The summer of 2023 Kaitlyn received her teaching certification under American Ballet Theatre’s Curriculum in levels pre-primary through level 3. Kaitlyn went to Bak Middle School of the Arts as a dance major. For high school, she studied at American Heritage for a year on a full dance scholarship. Then she transferred to Palm Beach Central High School, Dreyfoos School of the Arts, and finally The King’s Academy.

All advanced students must wear ballet attire, have hair neatly secured, capture the entire body, and only execute steps that are safe to do in your environment. We recommend that you record yourself in a studio that you currently attend classes at. Students currently enrolled in PBA’s Preparatory Department for dance or TKA The Kings Academy dance program are exempt from the audition requirement.
