In addition to PBA application procedures, prospective students seeking to major in art or design must file an application with the College of The Arts and submit an art portfolio to be evaluated by the Art faculty.
To major in art and design at Palm Beach Atlantic University, you’ll need to (1) apply to the University and (2) submit an art portfolio for the desired major.

Portfolios (electronic or otherwise) are submitted to the Chair of the Department of Art & Design. A phone or live interview may also be required. Portfolios should be received at least 4-5 weeks before the beginning of your first term. Portfolios should contain two or three significant projects from high school and/or community experiences. Transfer students must submit portfolios with significantly more material as early as possible.
Students admitted must maintain a 2.75 GPA for all classes within the major.
