Titus Center Scholarships

Amounts of awards vary and are determined by the Titus Center administration in accordance with endowment policies set by the University. Titus Center administration and members of the Advisory Board will be responsible for selecting the deserving students to receive these awards.

For 2020, each award is $2,500 and will be presented at the November 18 Titus Center Advisory Board luncheon on campus.

Recipients of Titus Center Scholarships:

  • Must be full-time students at Palm Beach Atlantic University in good standing.
  • Enrolled in the Rinker School of Business .
  • Selected the Concentration in Franchising (if an undergraduate).
  • Earned a minimum 3.0 G.P.A.
  • Demonstrated a commitment to the core values of the University, including community service.

Scholarship Opportunities 

JJ Prendamano Endowed Scholarship Awarded to a student who:

  • “Strives to thrive” in the business community.
  • Puts others first in a Christ-like way.
  • Class standing: Undergraduate-sophomore year or later.
  • Preference given to students who are engaged in multiple areas of University life, i.e., student government, S.A.I.L., or other campus clubs and organizations.

ABOUT THE JJ PRENDAMANO ENDOWED SCHOLARSHIP FUND 

JJ Prendamano was the General Manager at United Franchise Group for more than 25 years. He had a tremendous impact on UFG eventually the Founding of the Titus Center for Franchising. He founded the UFG mentor program and was a frequent guest speaker at PBA. Through this scholarship fund, JJ and the Titus Family are giving back to Palm Beach Atlantic University and the Franchising community by encouraging students to never stop learning.

Seiber Family Endowed Scholarship Awarded to a student who:

  • Class standing: Undergraduate-junior, senior, or graduate student.
  • Preference given to students who are majoring in business, marketing, or finance.
  • Shows an interest in working as a franchise executive or supplier to the franchise community.
  • Completed the course Principles of Franchising.

DEDICATED TO FOSTERING THE AMERICAN DREAM WORLDWIDE AND CREATING OPPORTUNITIES FOR FAMILIES TO ENRICH THEIR LIVES.

Don Dwyer, founder of The Dwyer Group (now known as Neighborly), used to tell his associates, “I don’t see you for what you are. I see you for what you could be.” Don saw himself as one of franchising’s most successful practitioners and his election to the Board of Directors of the International Franchise Association, as well as numerous awards and media exposure, confirmed his vision. He helped thousands of individuals worldwide see themselves for what they could be. His family has established a scholarship in his name for students of the Titus Center.
