2ND ANNUAL

Franchise Executive Symposium

FES is a live interactive opportunity for franchise executives (founders, presidents, CEOs, COOs, CMOs, directors of development, marketing, operations and international, etc.) to analyze two case studies and then develop solutions. The case studies are real and current and the presenters will be looking forward to your analysis and proposed solutions. FES also includes an executive panel — this year the focus is on franchise resales. Join us at FES for an afternoon of growth, brainstorming, and enlightening discussion that will stimulate creativity, problem-solving discussions, and opportunities to share ideas with other franchise executives.

Here’s what previous FES attendees say:

Dan Collins

Dan Collins, VP Franchise Development,
Stretch Zone

“I really appreciated the opportunity to always be learning by participating in the Franchise Executive Symposium. Being able to hear real-life situations from other franchise professionals, and then have the opportunity to work together in a smaller group to come up with suggested solutions and present them showed that we all have similar opportunities for growth. We were able to hear the actual solution to the real-life situation, and feedback on our suggested alternatives. It allows us to reflect upon similar circumstances in our work relationships, and how best to achieve a positive outcome for everyone involved. I will definitely be attending again.”

Sheila Fischer

Sheila Fischer, Senior Vice President,
MFV Expositions

“I enjoyed the opportunity to work with other franchise professionals during the case studies that were presented at the last Franchise Executive Symposium and I’m looking forward to attending the 2022 sessions!”

Two FES Case Studies

 Matthias H Lehner

Entering America: The Bodystreet Buzz

Matthias H. Lehner
CEO and Founder of Bodystreet
Vice Chairman of the German Franchise Association

European-based Bodystreet has created a buzz in the worldwide electro-muscle stimulation market with 300 fitness studios . . . but CEO and co-founder Matthias H. Lehner needs to increase the volume of that buzz in America! In the greatest fitness market of all, the U.S. currently includes only one Bodystreet studio. The pandemic forced a lower buzz volume in the states, but now the Bodystreet team is focused on entering America. How will they do it? What challenges will they face? Join us as Matthias shares his story during a FES Case Study at the Titus Center for Franchising. Become part of his team for the afternoon and help him make some important decisions that will create the Bodystreet Buzz in America.

Tedd Laatz

Finding Multi-Skilled Franchisees

Ted Laatz
President SUCCESS® Space

SUCCESS® Space is a new franchise brand that’s meeting the demand for a new kind of workplace that is socially-minded, technically savvy and positioned locally. But this may be the first brand introduced without a physical prototype. A gutsy move! SUCCESS® Space is three businesses in one and requires multi-skilled franchisees. How will they find them? Help Ted Laatz solve that problem along with several others that will be discussed in this Case Study.

Executive Panel

Franchise Resales:
Begin with the end in mind – Put together a successful resell plan regardless of your size.

Every successful franchisor has resales and yet so often they are an afterthought which causes confusion, frustration, additional expenses, and lost opportunities. Our executive panel will help you strategize a plan for your network’s resales.

Moderator: Red Boswell, President, IFPG
Panel members to be announced.
