Christ First University
At PBA — a leading Florida Christian University — faith is part of every aspect of campus life. The community centers on three core practices: Worship, Workship, and Wordship.
Worship takes place in weekly chapel services, giving students space to praise, pray, and deepen their relationship with Christ in a spiritually encouraging environment.
Workship is PBA’s long-running service program that combines work and worship. Since 1968, students have served over four million hours in local outreach, global mission trips, disaster relief, mentoring, and more—helping to shape servant leaders who live out their faith.
Wordship trains students to communicate with intention, honesty, and grace. Participants learn to ask genuine questions and engage in conversations that build trust and reflect Christ’s love.
Beyond structured programs, PBA’s Christian community thrives in shared values and intentional relationships. Discipleship leaders in each residence hall host Bible studies and one-on-one mentorship. Students engage in discipleship, missions, and faith-based student organizations that reinforce what it means to live out Christian character.
These practices are rooted in PBA’s guiding values: Seek Unity, Pursue Excellence, Show Respect, Reflect Love, Demonstrate Integrity, and Be Accountable. Together, they reinforce a Christ-first mission that inspires moral character, spiritual growth, and intentional leadership.
As a Florida Christian University, PBA doesn’t compartmentalize faith—it integrates Christ into learning, service, mentorship, and community life, preparing students to lead with purpose and compassion.
