Why Minor Online in Psychology at PBA?

Palm Beach Atlantic University’s Online Psychology Minor offers a comprehensive overview of key psychological disciplines, including behavioral physiology, learning, motivation, abnormal psychology, and social psychology. Designed for flexibility and academic depth, this program provides students with a strong foundation in both the scientific and applied aspects of psychology.

Through engaging online coursework and elective options, students can explore areas of personal and professional interest while gaining insight from a distinctly Christian perspective. This integration of faith and science prepares students to think critically, understand human behavior more fully, and apply psychological principles in a variety of career paths.

What You’ll Learn

As part of the Online Psychology Minor, students begin with a broad introduction to the field through General Psychology, exploring foundational topics such as behavior, motivation, learning, and mental health—viewed through both scientific and Christian lenses. Building on that foundation, Personality Theories offers a deeper look into the major theories that shape modern psychology. Students will critically evaluate each theory from both a biblical and research-based perspective, ultimately developing their own understanding of personality and human behavior.

These courses provide a thoughtful integration of psychological science and Christian worldview, equipping students with insight and practical knowledge for further study or application in various professional settings.
