Dr. Gregory Rummo, assistant professor of chemistry at Palm Beach Atlantic University (PBA), released a series of publications in 2026, including:
- “Crushed Though Innocent: The Psychological Interiority of Job as a Typological Framework for Interpreting Christ’s Gethsemane and Passion,” an academic paper published by ResearchGate, emphasizes parallels between the Book of Job and Jesus Christ, including their mysterious origins, unparalleled righteousness, and experiences of divine abandonment and suffering.
- “The truth is out there about UFOs,” an opinion piece published by the Orlando Sentinel regarding the files on UFOs released by the Pentagon in May 2026.
- “Building a Theistic Bridge Between Atomic Theory and a Christ-Animating Theology,” a reflection on atomic theory and its theological implications published by Christian Scholars’ Christ Animating Learning Blog.
- “Reading the Sky: A professor’s reflection on science, scripture, and the Star of Bethlehem,” published by Minding the Campus, in which Dr. Rummo speculates about the celestial event that led the Magi to Bethlehem.
- Dr. Rummo’s latest book, “Reaching Gen Z with the Gospel in the College Classroom: Awakening the Imago Dei in Genz Z,” was reviewed by recent PBA graduate student and teaching assistant Hannah Hutchins in Minding the Campus.
Dr. Kyle Van Houtan, visiting assistant professor of biology, is working on a bluefin tuna conservation project. His dedication to his work has led to award-winning success in the field, as he blends science, faith, and teaching to inspire students to care for creation.
