- Dr. Stephanie Bennett, professor of communication and director of Wordship, recently launched her first book, Relationships on the Run: How to Grow Authentic Connections and Lasting Intimacy in a Hurried Culture. Several students and faculty presented research at the 17th annual Autonomous Learning World Caucus, held at Oxford University, including the faculty below:
- Dr. Kirk Mensch, professor of ethics and organizational psychology, and Dr. Aloysius Ochasi, associate professor of ethics and organizational leadership, co-presented their forthcoming journal article, “Algorithmic Authority and Ethical Erosion: AI, Moral Conflicts, and the Physician’s Dilemma.”
- Dr. Marcia Bedasse, dean of PBA’s School of Education and Behavioral Studies, presented “Teacher Efficacy as the Missing Link Between Innovation and Impact.”
- Senior ΒΦ Fellows, including Dr. Mensch, inducted Dr. Ochasi and Dr. Bedasse into the ΒΦ Fellowship in the Great Hall at Exeter College during the awards ceremony and high tea.
- Finally, Dr. Kirk Mensch was awarded The Order of the Bird & Baby, affiliated with J.R.R. Tolkien, C.S. Lewis, and their Inklings group that met regularly at the Eagle & Child pub in Oxford, after which Dr. Mensch was afforded an open lecture in the chapel cathedral at Exeter College.
