PBA Professor Dr. Madison Ngafeeson Welcomed as the Editor-in-Chief for the International Journal of Big Data and Analytics in Healthcare

(May 16, 2025)IGI Global Scientific Publishing, dedicated to “Publishing Tomorrow’s Research Today” since 1988, welcomed Dr. Madison Ngafeeson, analytics professor and director of the Business Data Analytics Program at Palm Beach Atlantic University (PBA), as the Editor-in-Chief for the International Journal of Big Data and Analytics in Healthcare (IJBDAH). In this role, Dr. Ngafeeson is committed to collaborating with top global scholars in big data to publish high-quality research and advocate for open access to leading research that shapes data-driven healthcare solutions.   

IJBDAH, established in 2016, aims to encourage the  development of applications and practice relating to the management and analysis of large amounts of data in the healthcare sector. Dr. Ngafeeson is a distinguished leader in information systems and big data, holding a Ph.D. in Information Systems from the University of Texas-RGV,  a master’s degree in information systems from Southern University at New Orleans,  and a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry from the University of Buea, Cameroon. Dr. Ngafeeson was also honored with his certification in business analytics from Harvard University and has a background in medical laboratory sciences. Dr. Ngafeeson’s research explores the intersection of technology and human behavior, with contributions to a wide range of IGI Global Scientific Publishing publications, including in the International Journal of Web-Based Learning and Teaching Technologies (IJWLTT), the International Journal of Healthcare Information Systems and Informatics (IJHISI), Advanced Methodologies and Technologies in Medicine and Healthcare, and more.
