WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. – Community leaders, University supporters and distinguished guests gathered at Morton’s The Steakhouse for an exclusive VIP cocktail reception held in advance of Palm Beach Atlantic University’s (PBA) LeMieux Center for Public Policy Speaker Series.

The private reception provided invited guests the opportunity to connect with former U.S. Secretaries of State Mike Pompeo and John Kerry, who greeted attendees ahead of the evening’s program at the DeSantis Family Chapel. The gathering also included University trustees, elected officials, business leaders, ambassadors, and key supporters of PBA.

Former U.S. Sen. George LeMieux, moderator of the Speaker Series, welcomed guests alongside PBA President Dr. Debra A. Schwinn.

“We are grateful to bring together voices from across the political spectrum in a spirit of civil discourse and engagement,” said Schwinn. “Moments like these reflect PBA’s commitment to meaningful conversation and leadership.”

Following the reception, a standing-room-only crowd of approximately 300 students, government officials, University leaders, and members of the public attended the evening program, which was open to the community.

The LeMieux Speaker Series continues to serve as a forum for thoughtful discussion, bringing nationally recognized leaders to engage with the Palm Beach community.
