  • PBA’s 2025-2026 Fulbright U.S. Scholars have big plans this year! Dr. Thomas Parham will conduct research in Canada on the impact of the film and television industry on cultural identity at the University of Regina in Saskatchewan, and Dr. Marcus Valenzuela’s Fulbright research will take him to Hungary to collaborate with faculty in the department of organizational behavior and human resource development at Corvinus University of Budapest.

  • PBA recently held its annual Community Day celebration in preparation for the new academic year. Faculty and staff gathered to reflect on unity in Christ through a day of worship and fellowship. Dr. Elizabeth Stice was awarded the 2025 Charles and Hazel Corts Award for Outstanding Teaching and Jacquelyn Switalski was celebrated as the 2025 Employee of the Year!
  • Dr. Gregory Rummo, professor of chemistry, contributed a piece titled, “Americans Need More Dependance on One Another this Independence Day,” published as a Special to the USA TODAY Network. He also wrote “I teach college chemistry. Christianity and science can work together,” which was published to the Palm Beach Post.
  • Dr. Elizabeth Stice, professor of history, published an article titled “Imitation as a First Step to Teaching Excellence” in The Teaching Professor, a long-running publication for higher ed instructors.
