The University celebrated nearly 200 graduates with a virtual commencement ceremony Saturday morning.
This marked President Dr. Debra A. Schwinn’s first commencement since taking office. She commended students for their energy, creativity and perseverance, as well as their compassion exhibited through mission trips and Workship.
“Now our excitement rises high as we imagine the wonderful things God will do in and through you in the days and years ahead,” Schwinn said. “You leave here well prepared for lifelong learning and service and leadership.”
Provost Dr. Randy Richards said Palm Beach Atlantic has not only enriched graduates’ souls but also taught them to extend their hands through Workship and the University’s other service programs.
“They have experienced the unique ethos of our University,” Richards said. “These students have been taught by Christian professors who have modeled their faith both inside and outside the classroom.”
