Prior to coming to PBA full-time in 2001, Pam Sigafoose served for five years as an adjunct professor for the MacArthur School of Continuing Education (now Leadership). She wrote and administered federal and state grants for 10 years at Indian River Community College, where she also served as an adjunct professor. She worked in public relations at Texas Woman's University in Denton, Texas, and has been involved in higher education positions for more than 20 years. 

She has served in a variety of levels in church leadership ministries for women and girls. She holds national membership in the Association for Supervision of Curriculum and Development. Currently, she volunteers at SafeSpace, a women's shelter, facilitating workshops on positive self-management skills.
