Biography

Dr. McPartland has previously practiced primary care medicine as a solo practitioner, obtaining board certification in family medicine after his residency.  He later received his law degree, passed the bar examination, and also obtained credentials as a certified civil mediator.  After years in the legal arena, he entered higher education, filling roles as an adjunct professor, full professor, academic dean, regional dean, program director, teaching and learning community chair, and university department chair.

Dr. McPartland has authored multiple textbook chapters and is a frequent reviewer for the academic publishing industry, as well as serving as an active medicolegal consultant.  He is also certified as a Tiny Earth Partner Instructor after completing training in the microbiology labs at Johns Hopkins University, in order to bring original, iterative undergraduate research to his former institution.  Dr. McPartland has served as the chairman of the board of directors for a non-profit charter school in Palm Beach County, whose mission is to educate migrant children in the community.  His hobbies include spending time with his family, especially on the pickleball courts of Palm Beach County.
