Biography
Dr. Minnerly received his PhD from Florida Atlantic University studying the genetics of aging using the roundworm C. elegans as a model system. His research area of interest is on how metabolism and insulin signaling affects both healthspan and lifespan. His goals are to promote healthy living through education on the most up to date nutrition science in order to help prevent the chronic diseases that are plaguing our society. Dr. Minnerly has been teaching university students since 2016 with the philosophy that in this age of readily available information it is most important that students learn critical thinking and independent problem solving to succeed.
