Jennifer has been a registered nurse since 1998 and has had the privilege of working in many positions across the country. Her main area of expertise is in Emergency and Trauma Nursing where she also served as a Sexual Assault Nurse Examiner (SANE). She worked to develop the local SANE program and other educational initiatives, writing policies and procedures and serving in the community to promote sexual health practices for adolescents. She is also a Legal Nurse Consultant and a previous sole proprietor in this arena. Jennifer will earn her Doctor of Nursing Practice degree from Palm Beach Atlantic University in August of 2022 as a Family Nurse Practitioner and has passionately focused her educational efforts in the area of Infectious Disease. She previously served as the Health Alert Coordinator for PBA and was an adjunct professor for the School of Nursing as a clinical instructor and taught pathophysiology and pharmacology for the undergraduate and RN-BSN students. Jennifer has been married for 23 years to Jason, her best friend. She has three incredible children whom she had the privilege to home school where she developed her love for teaching. She is a member of several Nurse Practitioner and Nurse Educator organizations, and loves reading, writing, running, and spending time with family.
