Biography
David Einhorn serves as adjunct professor of double and electric bass at PBA. He is a graduate of the University of Miami and has performed on acoustic and electric bass with such artists as Johnny Hartman, Anita O’Day, Gap Mangione, Paquito d’Rivera, Kai Winding, Nat Adderly, Hank Jones, Red Rodney, Doc Cheatham, Eddie Cleanhead Vinson, Tadataka Unno, and Al Grey. Classically trained, David was a section bassist with the Philharmonic Orchestra of Florida. His jazz/classical collaboration with Ira Sullivan, entitled “Strings Attached,” was one of Mr. Sullivan’s most popular recordings. Most recently David has been performing with pianist Copeland Davis in West Palm Beach, and touring and recording with jazz pianist Reginald Policard from Haiti.
