Dr. Hickey received his doctorate in the program of molecular, cellular, and developmental biology. He brings with him valuable experience in the areas of laboratory and clinical research. His interests include cancer molecular biology and the development of novel therapies designed to eliminate cancer cells while preserving healthy functional cells. He specializes in leukemia experimental therapeutics using microRNA biology to influence gene expression within cancer cells.
