Biography
Dr. Alexandra Hubley serves as the Simulation Lab Coordinator and Instructor of Nursing at Palm Beach Atlantic University, where she has worked since 2019. She earned a Doctor of Nursing Practice in Executive Leadership, as well as a Master of Science in Nursing and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from PBA.
Her clinical background includes experience as a registered nurse in the emergency department and orthopedic unit. Alexandra teaches Pathophysiology and Pharmacology theory and is nationally certified as a Certified Healthcare Simulation Educator (CHSE).
She is deeply committed to experiential learning and interprofessional collaboration and has designed and facilitated simulations across all levels of the nursing curriculum. Her scholarly work includes funded interprofessional education initiatives and a peer-reviewed publication in the Journal of Christian Nursing. She is an active member of Sigma Theta Tau, where she serves as treasurer, and is involved in the Society for Simulation in Healthcare, INACSL, and Nursing Christian Fellowship.
