As a community of learners, our mission is to provide students with a rigorous educational environment that leads to intellectual, spiritual and personal character development. We believe that all people are made in the imago Dei- the image of God which gives every human being intrinsic value. It also compels us to treat each person with dignity, respect, kindness, understanding, love and an eagerness to see them know God and fulfill their God-given purposes.
Every student who chooses to become a part of the PBA community agrees to live in a way that is consistent with and not contrary to the PBA student conduct policies, which embody Christian ethical and moral standards of behavior. Our guiding document, THE NAVIGATOR, uses our 6 core values to outline university expectations, policies and procedures for student conduct. The policies in the Navigator apply to all students both on or off campus. It is our hope that these values will create a safe community that allows students to grow and mature through their experience at PBA. View The Navigator.
The RESIDENCE LIFE HANDBOOK is an additional guiding document for our residential students or guests of our residential students on campus. It outlines how to navigate campus life within the residence halls, discusses appropriate and inappropriate behavior, provides a list of resources and encourages stewardship of our facilities. Our goal is to help students clearly understand their responsibility within the community to create a Christ-like environment for all to learn and grow holistically. View The Residence Life Handbook.
The Office of Student Accountability is located on the second floor of Lassiter Student Center. Our hours are Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
