Lloyd L. Gregory School of Pharmacy
Serve, Teach and Heal
If your calling is to empower others to live healthier lives, PBA’s Lloyd L. Gregory
School of Pharmacy will provide an ideal path ahead. We’re Florida’s only pharmacy
school offered at a Christian university. Our holistic learning experience includes
expansive hands-on training locally and abroad. And concepts of faith throughout the
curriculum will equip you with a professional perspective that will set you apart.
A Distinctive Reputation
Our programs are highly respected in the healthcare arena. As a PharmD student you’ll
earn the BS in Medicinal Chemistry after completing your first year of course work. And you can enhance your studies
through our chartered student organizations, fraternities and honor societies.
Guided By Experts
Our faculty are as caring and supportive as they are respected for their scholarly
and professional work. Their shared Christian values will add depth to your preparation
that most pharmacy graduates simply won’t have. You’ll grow in your compounding skills,
and learn their examples of compassion. For instance, one of our faculty members opened
a pharmacist-run, primary care clinic for the local indigent and underserved population.
At the Leading Edge
The School’s dedicated, 45,000-square-foot building features the most advanced technology
and learning resources. With smart classrooms, abundant study space and a pharmacy
simulation center, you’ll train with the resources that mirror the technology in the
most advanced real-world pharmacy settings.
Be the Change
Every year, our students bring healing to needy communities locally and around the
world. They initiate outreach programs delivering health screenings and raising awareness
about health issues. And they travel the world on medical mission trips providing
treatment in locations such as:
- The Amazon
- Belize
- Bolivia
- Costa Rica
- The Dominican Republic
- Guatemala
- Honduras
- Taiwan
- Uganda
- Zambia
Oceans of Opportunity
As a PBA graduate you’ll find a wealth of professional opportunities—from health centers
and clinics, to hospitals, to residency practice and retail settings. There are 200
healthcare providers located within 50 miles of PBA, and more than 150 biotech, medical
device and pharmaceutical companies in West Palm Beach alone. You’ll find our graduates
working at places such as:
- Eli Lilly and Company
- Bristol-Myers Squibb
- CVS Health
- Cleveland Clinic
- Baptist Health South Florida
- U.S. Public Health Service
- Veterans Health Administration
They encouraged me to seek academic and leadership experiences locally as well as
at the state and national level, through which I developed a great passion for the
profession of pharmacy. I was trusted to represent the school in this capacity, an
honor to which I owe much of my personal and professional growth from Angela N. Skaff, B.S., Pharm.D. ’15
