Our Town by Thornton Wilder

Opera Workshop: Leporello tells it like it was!!!

The PBA Opera Workshop takes you on a one-hour romp exploring the loves and leisures of the legendary Don Giovanni as told by his “side-kick”, Leporello. With music by Mozart and the original book by Da Ponte, this re-telling of the story, in English, is sure to charm and delight both the novice and the ardent opera lover as well!

Dance Ensemble

Your hearts will be moved as you enjoy an energetic evening of excellence in dance, with works by guest choreographers from New York City, Brazil, and our very own faculty. PBA Dance Ensemble's performance will include diverse styles of dance all in one show, emphasizing the technical, physical, cultural, and spiritual beauty of the dance arts. Newsies Jr.

The Comedy of Errors

Early Music Festival

The 2023 PBA Early Music Festival, directed by Michael O'Connor, welcomes as guest artists the Washington Cornett & Sackbutt Ensemble (WCSE), one of the premier period-brass ensembles in the U.S. The festival kicks off with a concert of choral and instrumental works by Andrea and Giovanni Gabrieli, featuring the PBA Early Music Ensemble, the guests from Washington, and the PBA Concert Choir, directed by Sonia Santiago. The WCSE performs its own feature concert the following evening with virtuosic music by various composers for 5 brass instruments and basso continuo.

2023 American Liszt Society Festival

This year’s theme stresses Schubert’s influence on Liszt by commemorating the 200th anniversary of the creation/publication (1822-23) of the Wanderer Fantasy and its repercussion on Liszt’s thematic metamorphosis, which will be seen in some of the Liszt works scheduled.
