The Play Therapy concentration is designed to provide advanced training to students in Counselor Education program working with children and adolescents. Although The Play Therapy concentration does not directly certify individuals in Play Therapy; however, it can be listed as a graduate concentration in Play Therapy as part of one’s credentials. The four courses are designed toward meeting the education requirement for the national credential of Registered Play Therapist through the Association for Play Therapy.
