The School of Liberal Arts & Sciences

The Master of Science in health science program is an interdisciplinary collaboration of several academic disciplines currently available on the main campus of Palm Beach Atlantic University: School of Liberal Arts & Sciences, School of Education & Behavioral Studies, School of Nursing, and Gregory School of Pharmacy.  Enrolled graduate students will earn 30 credit hours of academic coursework in the innovative areas of biomedical science, pharmacology, biostatistics, healthcare policy, as well as faith and science.

Program Details 

As a graduate student in the School of Arts & Sciences at Palm Beach Atlantic University, here are a few distinctive opportunities distinctively at PBA:

  2. Accelerated - The Master of Science in Health Science program can be completed in four semesters totaling 30 credit hours culminating with a capstone project that displays individual growth and achievement. 

  3. Flexible - This program includes sub-term courses allowing flexibility for traditional and non-traditional students who desire to take two courses at any point of the semester and still complete 9 credit hours in one semester.

  4. A Practical Experience - To provide healthcare professionals with the education and practical experience that will further their professional goals and endeavors.

Two-track Concentration

Students select from two specialty concentrations in the areas of:
  • Healthcare Administration and Leadership (6 credit hours)
  • Biomedical Science (6 credit hours)
Upon completion, the graduate will have earned thirty credit hours including the completion of a capstone project that showcases the student’s growth during their enrollment in the Master of Science in Health Science at PBA.
