Highlights of Dr. Jackson’s Story

Dr. Jay Jackson’s journey with Palm Beach Atlantic University began as a student drawn to the university’s warm hospitality and Christ-centered community. While pursuing his Doctor of Pharmacy degree, he experienced professors who went beyond classroom instruction to invest in his spiritual growth and personal development.

Through chapel services and meaningful mentorship, Dr. Jackson came to understand that the Gospel of Jesus Christ is not only about eternal hope, but about living a transformed life here and now. That realization deeply shaped his identity, leadership philosophy, and professional calling.

After becoming a PBA alumni by graduating in 2012 with his PharmD, Dr. Jackson felt called to return to Palm Beach Atlantic University—this time as a faculty member. Today, he serves as Associate Professor of Pharmacy Practice and Assistant Dean for Students in the Gregory School of Pharmacy.

For Dr. Jackson, his mission is clear: to impact students with Christ-centered education and mentorship. He seeks to educate future pharmacists not only in clinical excellence, but also in servant leadership, compassion, and integrity. He believes pharmacy is more than a profession—it is a calling to serve patients as image bearers of God.

Dr. Jackson describes living his God-Sized Dream as being part of a diverse yet unified Christ-centered community committed to raising up the next generation of Christian leaders. Through teaching, mentoring, and spiritual development, he works to equip pharmacists who will serve boldly in their communities and advocate faithfully for their patients.

He expresses gratitude for the generosity of supporters who make this mission possible, recognizing that every investment in PBA multiplies into future healthcare leaders who practice pharmacy with faith and purpose.
