The Computer Engineering concentration combines principles of electrical engineering and computer science to prepare students for careers involving computer hardware, software, embedded systems, networking, and emerging technologies. Program Details
Engineering students develop a strong foundation in mathematics, science, programming, design, and engineering systems. Through laboratories, projects, simulations, and hands-on experiences, students gain the technical knowledge and practical skills necessary for professional engineering careers.
Computer Organization & Operating Systems
Explore how computer hardware and software interact while studying computer architecture, operating systems, memory, and processor design.
Digital Systems
Learn the fundamentals of digital logic, circuit design, and hardware systems while gaining hands-on experience through laboratory projects.
Algorithm Design and Analysis
Develop advanced problem-solving and programming skills while learning how efficient algorithms are designed, analyzed, and optimized for real-world applications.
Computer Engineering Concentration
The Computer Engineering concentration combines electronic engineering and computer science to prepare students for careers involving computer hardware, software, networking, embedded systems, and emerging technologies.

The program culminates in a two-semester Senior Project (Senior Design I & Senior Design II) where students develop solutions for real-world clients while demonstrating technical, communication, project management, and teamwork skills.
Computer Engineering students gain additional experience through programming projects, digital systems laboratories, computer networking coursework, and software-hardware integration projects that mirror real-world engineering applications.
