See It, Achieve It

You have a God-given calling. Career Development is here to help you discover how your passion and purpose intersect with where the world needs it. We will engage with you to help chart your course and complete it.

There are no limits to the potential of PBA students. So we honor that potential by providing a wide range of programs and services designed to empower you to accomplish everything you’re capable of achieving. We’ll assist you through all steps of the process.

Services include:

  • Narrowing down options for choosing a major through Career Assessments
  • Reviewing resumes and cover letters
  • Practicing interviewing skills
  • Self-assessing (exploring interests, skills, values and personality preferences)
  • Career coaching
  • Exploring graduate school plans

  • Offering advice on how to secure career opportunities
  • Researching employers and occupations
  • Networking and etiquette
  • Building an online professional profile on LinkedIn
  • Showcasing internship and job opportunities on our job database, Handshake

Internship Program: Discovering Internships as Vocational Exploration

PBA’s internship programs are assisted by Career Development and will provide you with powerful opportunities. Through internships, you will be able to explore career fields, develop skills, connect classroom knowledge to real-world settings, meet future employers and even earn a full-time position after you graduate. You will find these opportunities at some of the top organizations in the world, with names like Amazon, Google, and Bank of America.

Career Treks

Through our Career Trek Program, you will go to real-world professional settings and experience different career fields. These information trips will allow you to see how operations transpire in a broad range of professional industries, speak with employees and supervisors, and network with employers. Career Treks have become a powerful tool and taken students to places such as CEMEX, the Port of Palm Beach, and the FBI’s Miami headquarters.

Career Peers

We offer resume and cover letter reviewing as well as practice interviews through our Career Peer program. Our Career Peers are student trained in resume, CV, and cover letter writing as well as interview preparations and LinkedIn reviews. Visit the office for a walk-in appointment with a Career Peer or schedule an appointment with us on Handshake.
