2024 Scholarship Presentations
Scholarship Opportunities
Recipients Must:
- Be full-time students at Palm Beach Atlantic University in good standing.
- Officially selected to pursue the Concentration in Franchising (if an undergraduate). Students majoring in Entrepreneurship & Franchising have already declared the Concentration. The Declaration form is available here. You can also request the Declaration form from Titus Center for Franchising.
- Earn a minimum 3.0 G.P.A.
- Demonstrate a commitment to the core values of the university, including community service.
- Submit the scholarship application by September 26, 2025 at 5 pm in Titus Center. You may pick up an application form in Titus Center.
JJ Prendamano Annual Scholarship Awarded to a student who:
- Class standing: Undergraduate (sophmore, junior or senior), or graduate student.
- Preference given to students who are majoring in business, marketing, or finance.
- Must have completed or be currently enrolled in BFR 2123 Principles of Franchising.
ABOUT THE JJ PRENDAMANO ANNUAL SCHOLARSHIP FUND

Seiber Family Endowed Scholarship Awarded to a student who:
- Class standing: Undergraduate (junior or senior), or graduate student.
- Preference given to students who are majoring in business, marketing, or finance.
- Must have completed or be currently enrolled in BFR 2123 Principles of Franchising.
ABOUT THE SEIBER FAMILY ENDOWED SCHOLARSHIP

Geoff and Sherri Seiber, founders of Franfund established this scholarship to “help students achieve dreams they might otherwise think are impossible.”
Through this scholarship fund, the Seiber family is giving back to the franchise community in a meaningful way by encouraging students to pursue a career in franchising.

- Exhibits leadership qualities and a passion for the franchising business model.

The Titus Center Birdie Fund Annual Scholarship is made possible by the generous contributions of Titus Center Advisory Board members and guests, who participate in a semiannual golf tournament to raise funds for this scholarship. 2024 Scholarship Dedication
The 2024 Titus Center Birdie Fund Scholarship is awarded in honor of the late John Kanski. John was a beloved member of the franchise community, known for his dedication and contributions as the franchisor of Salty Dawg and a franchisee of Paul Mitchell Beauty Schools. An avid golfer, John’s passion for the sport and the franchising sector made him a cherished figure among his peers. This scholarship honors his legacy and his impact in the franchise community.

Through meaningful connections, curated experiences, and industry access, we’re building a movement of young professionals who aren’t waiting their turn — they’re creating what’s next.

2024 Scholarship Winners

Haley Arruda received the 2024 Seiber Family Endowed Scholarship presented by Geoff Seiber, CEO, FranFund in Fort Worth, TX. Seiber is a member of the Titus Center Advisory Board.

Stone Parton received the 2024 Kobel Family Scholarship provided by Ed and Becky Kobel. Mr. Kobel leads DeBartolo Development in Tampa. Dr. John P. Hayes (right) presented the award for the Kobels.

Jagger Bacon received the 2024 JJ Prendamano Scholarship from Andrea Titus (left, wife of Ray Titus) and Mrs. JJ Prendamano (mother of Andrea). JJ was an inspiration to many people at United Franchise Group.

Jay Alilin received the 2024 Don Dwyer Senior Endowed Scholarship. Dr. John P. Hayes (right) presented the award on behalf of the Dwyer Family. Mr. Dwyer was a franchise pioneer who established The Dwyer Group, later re-branded as Neighborly.

Nathan Hurrle received the 2024 Chick Fil A West Palm Beach scholarship. The award was presented by Kacey Dick (right) a PBA graduate and member of the local Chick Fil A management team.
