Advisory Board
The mission of the Titus Center for Franchising is to educate students and business professionals so that they can use franchising to better their lives as employees and/or business owners and ultimately to use franchising as a vehicle to create socially-conscious communities worldwide.
While our primary focus is on recruiting and teaching undergraduate students, the Center is also committed to providing professional education for all members of the franchise sector.
We expect our advisors to:
- Attend at least one of two meetings annually. Meetings occur in April and November and are announced well in advance. Each member company can list two team members on the Advisory Board.
- Contribute a financial gift of at least $5,000 over a two-year period. We ask our members to contribute a minimum of $2,500 annually. We also ask members to consider sponsoring events produced by the Center. Your annual contribution includes listing two members of your team on our board.
- Offer ideas, tools and resources to help the Titus Center fulfill its operational mission and its aspiration to become the “first choice” for franchise education internationally.
- Help the Titus Center staff evaluate its programs and provide expertise that will help the staff develop new programs to satisfy the expectations and needs of the franchise community.
- Advocate for the Center among colleagues and business and franchise communities with the goal of attracting the “best minds” in franchising to help the Center fulfill its mission, to provide an unbiased forum where franchise professionals can collaborate, to mentor students of franchising, and to invest in franchise education.
