Welcome Week

As a new student, Palm Beach Atlantic wants you to feel at home.

That’s why we’ve created: Welcome Week -- a fun-filled schedule of activities and events, offered to first-year and transfer students before the start of the fall semester.

Welcome Week 2012 is August 22-26. During check-in, you’ll be assigned to your “FISH” group — other first-year students as well as two upperclassmen, known as FISH Leaders. 

Together, you’ll:

• Participate in activities — from athletic contests to group activities, designed to help you better get to know the people and resources available to you

• Attend social events — from a meet-and-greet BBQ to energy-filled rallies
• Meet your faculty — the Christian men and women who will challenge, mentor and guide you
• Prepare for success — during your first academic year at PBA and beyond

 Activities for Parents
Parents are invited to attend Welcome Week and Welcome Weekend. They’ll join in on the fun with their students, and also attend some activities and events just for parents. Events for parents include the Parent Ice Cream Social with the President, seminar "How to Write the Next Chapter," and Concert of Prayer.  Look for us at the Parents Welcome Area, sponsored by Hyatt Place.
