Our mission in the Office of Career Development is to assist you through all phases of the career development process, including:

presenting opportunities for self-reflection, assessment, and identification of your skills and interests - helping you choose a major
- offering individual personalized career counseling (see below)
- connecting you with short-term and long-term internships that help you advance academically
- providing resources as you develop your experiential learning plan to discover your vocational direction
- facilitating your senior year transition process into graduate programs or fulltime employment.
The Career Developement office also help with:
- how to write a resume
- how to get into graduate school
- how to find a job
- how to successfully interview
- professional etiquette

Individual Counseling
Meet with a career counselor to discuss your career planning process and receive assistance in:
- developing strategies for career development and exploration
- connecting with local employers for networking, job shadowing, and internships
- learning how to compose an effective cover letter and resume'
- practicing your interviewing skills
- interacting with resources and information on career exploration, emerging career fields, salaries and salary negotiation, and graduate school
