Christival

What can be more uplifting than praising the Lord and learning about Him through song and rousing talks given by some of the most dynamic Christian leaders in the world?

PBA does exactly that over several days each semester for Christival, a long-standing PBA tradition of praise, worship and learning.

Christival began in the 1980s, making it the longest-standing conference at PBA.

Malcolm Gill

The guest speaker was Dr. Malcolm Gill. Gill serves on the faculty of Sydney Missionary and Bible College in Sydney, Australia teaching the New Testament, preaching and Greek. He received his doctorate in New Testament Studies from Dallas Theological Seminary, and has ministered in churches in the U.S. and Australia. Gill also serves in Ministry Development and Pastoral Services at Insight for Living Australia, and has been a member of the Board of Directors since 2006.

The following themes were discussed:

• Message 1: Great God: John 17
• Message 2: Great Gospel: (part one): 1 Corinthians 15
• Message 3: Great Gospel: (part two): 1 Corinthians 15
• Message 4: Great Gospel (part three) 1 Corinthians 15
• Message 5: Great commission: Romans 15 

Theme verse: "And this is eternal life, that they know you the only true God, and Jesus Christ whom you have sent" (John 17:3).
