If you are not a citizen of the United States and want to apply to PBA, you should apply at least four to six months in advance of the desired date of entrance, submitting all required materials two to three months prior to registration. Letters of acceptance and I-20 documents are issued after the applicant's filing is complete. International students must submit the following items:

- A completed application, an autobiographical essay and a non-refundable $35 (U.S. currency) application fee
- Two letters of recommendation, one academic and one character/personal
- For students whose first language is not English, a minimum TOEFL score of 550 is required for acceptance
- For students proficient in English, ACT or SAT scores are required
- Official transcripts of secondary education equivalent to graduation from an American high school (transcripts from schools outside the U.S. must be evaluated by SILNY or WES)
- Interview
- Financial statement assuming responsibility for annual costs
- Bank statement verifying adequate resources
- A completed application, an autobiographical essay and a non-refundable $35 (U.S. currency) application fee
- Two letters of recommendation, one academic and one character/personal
- For students whose first language is not English, a minimum TOEFL score of 550 is required for acceptance
- For students proficient in English, ACT or SAT scores are required
- Official transcripts from all colleges/universities attended (transcripts from schools outside the U.S. must be evaluated by transcript evaluation and translation service providers who are members of AACRAO (www.aacrao.org) or NACES (www.naces.org).

- Completed F-1 Student Transfer Form (if transferring from any U.S. institution)
