Updated Vision Statement for Palm Beach Atlantic University

WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. (May 20, 2026) – Palm Beach Atlantic University (PBA) has updated its vision statement.  The updated statement reflects the growing global reach of PBA, with students representing 82 nations and all 50 states. At the same time, the improved vision statement upholds the holistic approach to training the next generation of servant-hearted leaders with academic excellence.   

The revised statement now reads:  

“Palm Beach Atlantic University’s vision is to be the premier Christian university, developing Christ-first leaders by educating the mind, heart, and soul of students from around the globe to address the challenges of their day with godly character and a servant’s heart.” 

PBA has eight academic schools and colleges offering 98 academic programs, including 16 master’s programs, and three doctoral degrees. The University also has eight centers of excellence that enhance the learning experience for students: LeMieux Center for Public Policy, Center for Global Leadership, Center for Integrative Science Learning, David & Leighan Rinker Center for Experiential Learning, Gregory Center for Medical Missions, Titus Center for Franchising, Center for Financial Literacy, and the Raney Center for Free Enterprise. 

PBA also has a strong servant leadership development focus. Each student is required to complete 45 hours of Workship, or community service, each year. Since 1968, PBA students have given 4.5 million hours of service to the community and around the world.
