The University has embarked on a campus-wide relief effort for those in the Bahamas affected by Hurricane Dorian.

The Palm Beach Atlantic community joined together for a prayer vigil Sunday evening in the DeSantis Family Chapel.

The University’s Workship office in the William G. Lassiter Student Center, 900 S. Olive Ave., is a collection site for supplies donated to the Green Turtle Cay Foundation and Eagles’ Wings Foundation. No used clothes will be accepted.

Green Turtle Cay Foundation is collecting the following:

Cleaning Supplies
Extension Cords
Mosquito Netting
Air Mattresses
Eagles’ Wings Foundation is collecting:

Battery Operated Lights
Solar Lights
Camp Stoves
Butane Cans
Small BBQ Grills
Tylenol, Advil
Antibiotic Ointment Bleach
Mosquito Nets & Spray

Because cash is the most immediate, useful and versatile way to give, the University has also publicized a donation page for Green Turtle Cay Foundation, Eagles’ Wings Foundation and Samaritan’s Purse.
