When Bebe Warren, a retired educator and wife of Palm Beach Atlantic University’s founding chairman, passed away in May of this year, her legacy included dozens of PBA teachers whom she encouraged through her named scholarship.
Upon Mrs. Warren’s death at age 90, a gift from the Warren estate along with additional donations from friends and family members boosted the balance of the Bebe Warren Scholarship Fund. This endowment now provides Palm Beach Atlantic the opportunity to create a signature scholarship to support more students who aspire to be elementary school teachers.
“The education department is excited to provide the Bebe Warren scholarship to qualified incoming elementary education majors,” said Dr. Chelly Templeton, dean of School of Education and Behavioral Studies. “These scholarship dollars offer opportunity for outstanding students to fulfill big dreams as they influence their world for Christ in classrooms at home and abroad.”
