Biography
Dr. Valessa Joseph is an Associate Professor at the PBA School of Nursing. Dr. Joseph was an Assistant Professor at Nova Southeastern University’s Graduate Program and an Assistant Professor in Chamberlian University’s Undergraduate Program. She has served as an academic advisor and mentor, course lead, clinical coordinator, faculty development chair, and planning assessment committee member. Dr. Joseph has 13 years of clinical experience as a Family Nurse Practitioner in primary care and urgent care settings. Her clinical experience also includes 8 years as a Renal and CVICU nurse. Dr. Joseph passion is centered around building the next generation of nursing professionals and leaders who serve with compassion, resilience, and the love of Christ.
Dr. Joseph is a member of American Academy of Nurse Practitioners (AANP) Member, South Florida Council of Nurse Practitioner (SFCNP), Florida Nurse Practitioner Network (FNPN).
