Just north of West Palm Beach will take you to the beautiful communities of Jupiter and Palm Beach Gardens, offering stunning beaches, parks, resorts and nature areas. Attractions include Jupiter Ridge Natural Area, Loggerhead Marinelife Center, John D. MacArthur Beach and Jonathan Dickinson state parks. Farther north you’ll find the iconic Kennedy Space Center with its exciting array of special events and activities.

As you head northwest of West Palm Beach, you’ll discover the amazing offerings of Orlando, about two and a half hours by car. Home to PBA’s campus for working professional and adult learners, Orlando is one of the most popular destinations in the world. It features attractions such as Universal Studios and Walt Disney World, which also serves as a frequent internship site for PBA students.

Traveling to and from the Northeast from West Palm Beach is easy via Palm Beach International Airport, which offers frequent commuter flights from the New York City area, Boston, Philadelphia, Charlotte, Atlanta and Washington, D.C. If you have time, I-95 is right at our back door.

West of PBA's West Palm Beach Campus is the community of Wellington, home to elite high-goal polo and Olympic-caliber hunter-jumper and dressage competition. Wellington also is the gateway to enormous agribusiness, with tens of thousands of acres planted in sugar cane, corn and other crops. Further west is sprawling Lake Okeechobee, a paradise for freshwater fishermen, and the Gulf Coast resort towns of Naples, Sanibel and Marco Island.

Setting your sails east of West Palm Beach will chart a path toward the mighty Gulf Stream current, The Bahamas and beyond that the open Atlantic. Students interested in the natural sciences find some unparalleled resources along the Atlantic coast, not to mention good surfing and some of the best scuba diving in the world.

Heading to the southeast of West Palm Beach will take you to the stunning Caribbean Islands and eventually Central and South America. These are destinations that PBA students frequently visit through service abroad trips, Workship and other initiatives working to improve communities and positively impact lives.

Traveling south of West Palm Beach on I-95 provides ready access to Fort Lauderdale, Miami and the Keys. Miami and Miami Beach are the gateways to South America, and many Fortune 500 companies have Latin American headquarters there. These destinations offer world-class entertainment events, cultural outlets and shopping, pro sports, beaches, sailing, diving, year-round fun in the sun as well as a vast range of internship and professional opportunities.

To the southwest of West Palm Beach you’ll find some of the country’s most amazing natural resources, including the Everglades National Park and Big Cypress Natural Preserve. These provide astounding opportunities to explore unique wetlands, mangrove forests and wildlife for recreation as well as for academic research activities.
