Residence Life Mission Statement:
To challenge and support the holistic development of residential students in the context of a Christian learning community that seeks to serve through the unconditional love of Christ.
Our campus features a variety of student residence facilities, each of which offers its own unique character. They all include laundry facilities and Wi-Fi, and some come fully-furnished with additional amenities such as pools and waterfront views. You’ll be able to join others from your hall to compete for the Sailfish Cup, a four-day competition with 35 events. And you can choose from a variety of dining options across campus including Chick-fil-A, Einstein Bagels, P.O.D. Express and, of course, Fraser Dining Hall.
You’ll find daily opportunities to engage in fun activities and events which provide the perfect opportunity to make new friends. Involvement in any of our more than 40 student-run clubs provide the chance to develop important teamwork and leadership skills and generate excitement across campus. And you’ll make lifelong memories at popular events such as Monday Night Live and The Anchor.
We devote extensive resources to the health and well-being of our students. You’ll have access to a fully-staffed Health Center and Counseling Center, which are open Mondays through Fridays and provide Christ-centered support and wellness services. Physical, emotional and spiritual wellness are key components of the PBA Living and learning environment.
Nothing is more important to us than the safety of our students. We have a fully-staffed safety and security office located on campus. State-certified officers provide escort services and patrol campus 24/7 in vehicles, on bikes and on foot. There are 22 emergency telephone boxes located across campus. And you’ll be kept informed of any safety issue day and night through PBA Alert text messaging and our safety app.
PBA’s John & Sheila Rinker Sports Center is one of the finest NCAA Division II athletic facilities in the country, and even rivals those of many smaller Division I schools. It’s part of the University’s 78-acre Marshall and Vera Rinker Athletic Complex, which includes top-notch facilities for baseball, lacrosse, soccer, softball, tennis, beach volleyball and intramurals.
You’ll have easy access to more than 50 miles of pristine beaches, just minutes from campus.
The area along and around Okeechobee Boulevard is a thriving financial and wealth district brimming with internship and employment opportunities.
There are more than 40 student-run clubs and organizations at PBA, and you can always start your own club based on your unique interests.
