50 Notable Alumni
In celebration of Palm Beach Atlantic University’s 50th Anniversary year, 50 Notable Alumni were recognized at the Alumni Celebration on November 3 during Homecoming 2018. Countless outstanding students have graduated in the University's 50 years, and every faculty and staff member likely has their own list of dozens of alumni who would be excellent candidates. What makes these alumni notable includes professional, academic or service-related excellence, but we especially wanted to recognize alumni who impacted PBA, whether as students or after graduation.
Choosing 50 notable alumni was a daunting task. The process began with a survey to all current professors, Alumni Board members and staff asking for their suggestions. A selection committee made up of Alumni Board members processed the results and helped research all of the candidates. Past Distinguished Alumni award recipients were excluded. This is not a list of the “Most Notable Alumni of All Time”, but rather 50 incredibly deserving alumni that we could recognize as part of the 50th Anniversary.
