Biography
Camille Vilela-Jones is an assistant professor in the English department. A Fulbright scholar, her research interests include Latin American literature, translation, African American literature, modernism, transnational literature and world literature. Dr. Vilela-Jones has published on several peer-review journals, including James Joyce Quarterly on the Brazilian translations of James Joyce’s novel, Ulysses. She has published in multiple countries and languages in addition to having presented at numerous domestic and international conferences on the topics of modernism, translation and Latin American literature.
