The Lloyd L. Gregory School of Pharmacy
Wagdy Wahba Living Faith Endowed Scholarship
|Named in honor of Dr. Wagdy Wahba, the scholarship is awarded annually to a GSOP student who lives out their faith in Christ, as evidenced in both word and action.|
The Lloyd L. Gregory School of Pharmacy is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE).
Our graduates continue to excel on the pharmacy licensing board exams. The 2011 graduating class achieved the highest passing rate in the state on the North American Pharmacist Licensure Examination (NAPLEX), a first in the school's history. In fact, the school's 98.44 percent pass rate on the NAPLEX was higher than both the state and national averages, which were 93.53 and 95.66, respectively.
The Wahba Living Faith Scholarship is in honor of Dr. Wagdy Wahba for his many years of service as a faculty member and spiritual leadership at the Gregory School of Pharmacy. This scholarship is given to a single pharmacy student according to the following criteria: The student must have completed 3+ semesters in the Gregory School of Pharmacy, have a minimum GPA of 3.0, demonstrate Christian character in expression and action via servant hood as evidenced by volunteerism, community service, and service to other students and demonstrate Christian leadership as evidenced by an outward expression of Christian faith and by being active in his/her local church.
We appreciate your prayers for our continued success and ask that you help support this important scholarship fund that will assist GSOP students who demonstrate financial need.
Thank you in advance for your kindness and for helping us to train future servant leaders and pharmacists
at Palm Beach Atlantic University.
