SOAR: Student Orientation, Advising & Registration is PBA's one-day orientation for new students to help them prepare for their first year at PBA.

Are you ready to start your PBA experience off on the right foot? Then attend Student Orientation, Advising & Registration, “SOAR”. Can't make it to campus? Don't worry, PBA offers "SOAR: Virtual" for those unable to travel to campus. 

This one-day orientation will help you prepare for your first year at PBA and give you the opportunity to:

  • Obtain financial aid information
  • Receive your student ID
  • Review your class schedule
  • Meet with your academic adviser
  • Eat in the dining hall
  • Learn about campus resources
  • Connect with faculty members and deans
  • Connect with local businesses and organizations
  • Tour residence halls

For Parents

We know parents also have a lot of questions about what life at PBA will be like for your student. To help answer your questions and ease your fears, we invite you to attend SOAR as well.

During SOAR, you will learn about:

  • Financial aid
  • Safety and security
  • Accountability
  • Chapel
  • Parents Council
  • Registration


You may register for SOAR after you have paid your tuition deposit.

SOAR 2019 Live dates are:

  • June 14, 2019,  8 am – 3 pm
  • June 28, 2019, 8 am – 3 pm
  • July 12, 2019, 8 am – 3 pm

SOAR 2019 Virtual dates are:

  • May 29, 2019, 5-6:30 pm EST
  • June 19, 2019, 11 am – 12:30 pm EST
  • June 19, 2019,  5-6:30 pm EST
  • July 31, 2019,  11 am – 12:30 pm EST 

To register, visit myPBA and enter the user name and password you received after you submitted your deposit.
